The individual contributor would work with the Architect, System Integrators, Subsystem Teams and V&V Teams to manage conceptual models and requirements repositories for any new Architecture, Major Model Lines and Innovation Projects in the platform. In addition, this person would help support strategic digital thread initiatives connecting Requirements, Master Assembly, Bills of Material, and verification data. Each day will offer a broad range of opportunities to connect with different portions of the Dish team and will support a fast paced, team oriented, work environment.  
This position would report to the Dishwasher System Architect. 
 
Main Focus of System Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical requirements for projects in IBM Rational
  • Decompose system requirements to subsystem and module requirements in IBM Rational
  • Develop conceptual architecture models in PTC Integrity Modeler
  • Develop and maintain digital links to PLM and other databases
 
Education/Experience Required
  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering
  • Proven experience in using IBM Rational 
  • Experience in PTC Windchill and Integrity Modeler is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 2-year associate's degree (or applicable regional alternative) in an applicable field is preferred though not required for this role
  • Experience in home appliances of a multinational company, design or manufacturing background is a plus
  • Demonstrable continuous improvement experience is preferred
