This role in summary

Manage a commodity or set of commodities within a region towards financial and quality targets, manage delivery escalation issues, lead new model launch CM activities for regional commodities, be a key contributor to the sourcing plan. 

 

Your responsibilities will include 

Supplier Management

  • Identify and on-board new suppliers
  • Manage both Global and Regional supplier relationships
  • Review & manage distressed supplier improvement plans
  • Manage supplier against sourcing strategy (Grow, Exit, Develop…)
  • Review supplier scorecard, identify gaps/areas for action 

Contract Negotiations

  • Lead regional supplier negotiations 
  • Contribute to global contract negotiations
  • Create negotiation plans
  • Lead all regional contracts sign-off

Sourcing Strategy

  • Provide regional input to global commodity strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of the regional/global strategy
  • Create supply roadmap
  • Participate as necessary in SSD Late activities
  • Delivery Management - manage escalation

Quality Management & E&T Engagement

  • Recoup financial impacts when an incident occurs.
  • Manage execution against corrective action plan
  • New Model Introduction - provide input for project management process in line with project timing
  • Determine regional ESI sourcing plans.
  • Review and validate requirements for supplier selection.
  • Award supplier & debrief finalists
  • Capture, negotiate and assign cost reduction opportunity
  • Responsible for  monthly reporting activities for the commodity/commodities (MPV)


 

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Economic or other related area
  • About +5 years of professional experience as Program Manger in Procurement area
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Able to create a compelling & inspiring strategy
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent in English
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
  • Being Team Working oriented
  • Resilient and able to handle stressful situations
