For our Whirlpool location in Wrocław we are looking for a Product Specialist  who will join the global Refrigeration Team. You will have a chance to cooperate with the project teams worldwide working for the company awarded the Top Employer 2021 in Europe!  


Key Activities and Responsibilities:


  • Consolidate data to prioritize Cost Take Out projects, enabling Architecture Lifecycle Management through multi-year Product Leadership Strategy 
  • New model planning - own the new model lineup.  Create/manage part numbers translating eBOMs to mBOMs. Engineering notice to PO process.
  • Compare different global practices to help the definition of the best product cost  as per design and manufacturing requirements
  • Support New and Existing Model cost planning
  • Partner with Cost&Quality Leaders to manage financials for projects (monthly forecasts and actuals tracking)
  • Provide final check of change notices to verify change is in compliance with cost roadmap


Our requirements:


  • Engineering or related Degree
  • Technical Project Management experience of at least 2 years in appliance industry in global organization; 3 - 4 years of experience in regional/local companies in other industrial areas (Automotive, Aviation, Mechanical, Technical)
  • Practical knowledge of effective methods to suggest and implement problem solving techniques and tools
  • Excellent analytical skills, managing big data, visualisation of project KPIs through data analysis
  • Good communication skills to different audiences (engineering, manufacturing and line employees)
  • Fluent English - spoken and written
  • Effective interaction with the team by communicating ideas clearly – both verbally and written.
  • Ability to perform and to manage the project portfolio 
  • Ability to influence people and coordinate work of the project team
  • Google drive management (90% Google spreadsheet)
  • SAP / ERP MRP & PLM practical knowledge will be a great asset
  • Eagerness to apply the learning gained through practical experience in cross-team cooperation
