Job Mission


We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Web Master to join our D2C ecommerce team

As a Web Master eCommerce Analyst, you will be responsible for websites management, coordinating the UX & UI, development, deployment and maintenance of these e-commerce platforms. You will be the coordinator of all website updates and upgrades in line with the ecommerce and brand marketing requirements. Develop the best strategies for the online channel, increase brand awareness and maximise online sales. You will represent the local team with the regional product owners and UX teams. You will be part of the D2C e-commerce team and will report to the Head of D2C.

 

 

Your task in this role will include

 

  • Product owner of the digital platforms and website 
  • Managing, monitoring, maintaining and updating own web shop on Bauknecht website and benchmarking competitors' websites 
  • Creating requirements for improving user experience and formulating local responsibility (vs. regional)
  • Creation and management of appropriate content for the website, taking into account the organisational strategy
  • Supporting the content management system to external interfaces 
  • Handling texts, images and other content in CMS under SEO relevant points
  • Collaboration and coordination with all staff and management to ensure brand strategies are in place
  • Contact person for the E-Commerce Sales Lead, the SEO Specialist and the CRM Manager
  • Optimisation of the presence under data protection guidelines and consideration of all legal aspects
  • Ensuring the quality and efficiency of the website through the implementation of regular test plans 
  • Operational adjustments and improvements of the own webshop 

 

 

Background and experiences

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, project management, business or a related discipline or equivalent
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a Web Master Analyst role, preferably in a eCommerce environment
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms processes and technologies
  • You are proficient in HTML
  • Deep knowledge of Google Analytics and CMS, knowledge of VTex platform is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong attention to details, flexibility and adaptability in changing environment
  • Fluent English, good knowledge in German
  • Start Up and/or agency experience is very welcome
