HA System Integrator Manager

Location: Rio Claro, Brazil



Seamless integration of final manufactured products from Concept through Production Validation that delivers product leadership through balanced product solutions that delight consumers and satisfy the needs of the business and stakeholders.



  • Lead the technical development and execution of new laundry projects                                    
  • Translate business requirements to technical project specification plans                                    
  • Lead the engineering project team through product development milestones                                    
  • Make system-level engineering trade-offs                                    
  • Accountable for new product cost, quality and production delivery targets                                    
  • Manage capital and engineering expense budgets                                    
  • Present project status updates to management and executive leadership   



  • Manage System Integration in Production Development Projects                                    
  • Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality and performance targets to support the project plans and project execution
  • Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails                                    
  • Lead technical design reviews for the project                                    
  • Responsible to drive full system validation through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and product validation stages                                    
  • Ensures the parts/components can be integrated in a flawless way to deliver the expected performance outputs identified by the project team.                                    
  • Responsible for driving Product Leadership through the WPD (Whirlpool Product Development) process driving the project through specific milestones and gates.



Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certifications are a plus



  • 7-years depending on scope of project Engineering & Technical Design Experience:
  • Proven development and execution experience
  • Knowledge in given category
  • Project management
  • System design
  • System integration



  • Solid experience in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering;
  • Solid experience in Technical Project Management:
  • Proven development and execution experience
  • Project management

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence others;
  • Technical coaching abilities;
  • Experience in tooling and basic processes (injection moulding, metal stamping



  • Strong motivation and ability to drive things through independently and with guidance from the more experienced System Integrators
  • Analytical Skills for interpreting data and test reports
  • Sense of urgency and capability to work under pressure for multiple tasks are needed requirements
  • Strong attitude to the problem solving and to the critical thinking, proactive behaviour and capability to respect work commitment and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to other locations of Whirlpool globally and suppliers 
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent in Portuguese 
  • Proficient in Spanish
