To our location in Radomsko we are looking for an expereinced System Integrator in Laundry department. The purpose of the role is to provide the seamless integration of final manufactured products from Concept through Production Validation that delivers product leadership through balanced product solutions that delight consumers and satisfy the needs of the business and stakeholders.


What will your responsibilities include:

  • Manage system integration of projects in Production Development Projects
  • Ensure product development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance  targets to support the project plans and project execution 
  • Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails(target ranges)
  • Lead technical design reviews for project to provide an assessment of whether the project is within the architecture/project/product plan guardrails by working with key development team members (e.g. Subsystem teams, V&V Strategist, Project Leader) and  by consulting with key architecture development team members when necessary (e.g. Platform System Architect, Subsystem SMEs, V&V Strategist)
  • Responsible to drive full system validation through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and product validation stages
  • Responsible for driving Product Leadership through the Whirlpool Product Development process, including the following:
  • Manage/Release of EBOMs based on project charter and architecture definition
  • Drive simulation of virtual prototypes and build of physical prototypes per V&V Plan or development phase tradeoff reviews
  • Document total expected variation to +/- 3 sigma distribution for each attribute
  • Document the revision of parts used in builds using baselines
  • Ensure high contributing factors toward each function are designated as a Special Characteristic
  • Drive the measurement and documentation of the special characteristics on physical prototypes
  • Drive closure of dFMEA action plans and updated Occurrence & Detection, based on Concept and Design Validation data and functional performance stacks


What required qualifications do you need to succeed:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or Chemical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience depending on scope of project Engineering & Technical Design Experience
  • Proven development and execution experience
  • Knowledge in given category:Project management, System design, System integration
  • Fluent English

 

Preferred requirements: 

  • Solid experience in engineering or material science
  • Solid experience in Technical Project Management:
  • Proven development and execution experience in Project management, System design, System integration, Procurement interactions
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence others
  • Technical coaching abilities
  • Experience in tooling and basic processes (injection moulding, metal stamping, …)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certifications are a plus

 

Competences we are looking for:

  • Strong motivation and ability to drive things through independently and with guidance from the more experienced System Integrators
  • Analytical Skills for interpreting data and test reports
  • Sense of urgency and capability to work under pressure for multiple tasks are needed requirements
  • Strong attitude to the problem solving and to the critical thinking, proactive behaviour and capability to respect work commitment and deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to other locations of Whirlpool globally and suppliers-
