The world’s largest appliance manufacturer in constant pursuit of improving life at home for its consumers and with the aim of offering the best-branded experience in the market. Data and Analytics play a key role in their strategy to Win the Digital Consumer Journey and the business has recently invested in projects and tools to better understand its consumers by unifying vast sources of data. You will mainly work with the Marketing Team stakeholders in the UK but also liaising with Business Intelligence & Analytics teams in Italy (EMEA headquarters) with scope in the future to widen projects beyond the UK.



Main role & responsibilities


  • Mine vast amounts of data from individual sources and join them together using analytics tools for insights & intelligence (BlueVenn or previous experience using tools such as FastStats, RedEye) - Identifying patterns within the data to highlight opportunities and risks to our short and long term sales of products and consumer loyalty.
  • Use strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings to marketing/commercial stakeholders to drive better decision making for both strategic as well as tactical campaign planning.
  • To apply statistical significance to assumptions to validate hypotheses built by marketing stakeholders
  • Define and manage consumer segmentation & propensity models, associated with regular reporting to better drive consumer acquisition, engagement, loyalty & advocacy.
  • Competitive analysis and determining which activities, channels & retailers to focus on where our business can win.
  • Make recommendations to adapt existing products, journeys, communications, messages, investments.
  • Ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner to support marketing projects,  prospect & existing business partner meetings, and senior leadership meetings.
  • Using advanced tools to determine forecasts, make predictions and recommendations for:
      • increasing product sales/share across both digital and offline journey
      • optimization of marketing spend
      • increased consumer engagement across digital and offline consumer journeys
      • increased prod visibility on retailers websites
      • increased product visibility instore
      • increased brand awareness, consideration, preference & purchase intent
      • improved touchpoint effectiveness
      • increased consumer satisfaction -  advocacy/reviews
      • increase repeat purchase/loyalty
      • increased product registration rates

Skills and experience required


  • University educated - quantitative field of study.
  • Advanced understanding of databases and proven experience of working with enterprise data models and data architectures.
  • Predictive modeling is also a common factor in projects, and we have tools to support it so that building from scratch is not required.
  • Expertise in the field of e-commerce/CRM analytics: knowledge and experience of using CDP/CRM tools to run data analysis.
  • Analytics software knowledge and experience in visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using various data visualization tools (e.g.Bluevenn, Faststats, Redeye & Tableau or Google Data Studio).
  • Understanding of marketing mix modeling/analysis and general strategy/marketing principles and theory.
  • Ability to comprehend complex contexts and to communicate ideas in a simple business language to stakeholders from Director level to junior team members.
  • Presence and charisma to convince any audience of the route to success and with the ability to build strong and powerful relationships.
  • An aptitude for strategic development and implementation.
  • Demonstrable track record of integrity and commercial acumen.
  • Fundamentally we are looking for a curious, motivated, and experienced individual who enjoys solving consumer journey & business problems using statistical analysis techniques and tools.

Beneficial but not essential


  • MBA and/or equivalent experience in Strategy and/or Marketing.
  • Knowledge of Major Domestic Appliance Industry.
