This role in summary

We are looking for a GIS Services Manager to oversee all services to ensure that business needs are being met. This role will partner with various stakeholders, in business and GIS, corporate and regional, in order to drive Services Management in Whirlpool EMEA for Marketing, eCommerce and Customer Services platforms.

This role will support and maintain the application platforms to ensure that GIS is providing a reliable, scalable, maintainable and highly available application services to the business, ensuring compliance to security and data privacy standards. 

The ecosystem includes websites, eCommerce sites, Customer Services applications, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management and Customer Data Platform

 

Your responsibilities will include 

  • Ensuring the quality of service and the smooth running of different applications
  • Problem and Incident management ensuring that SLA’s are achieved and stakeholders expectations are met 
  • Ensure the company tools and information systems are utilized correctly and relevant information is provided
  • Define and maintain a Service Catalogue including service level agreements (SLAs) related to the IT services being delivered
  • Vulnerability and remediation management
  • Audit management
  • Proactively innovate and improve operational setup as we grow as a business working with the Solution Architecture Team (DevOps)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Define processes and methodologies, to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of the service delivery
  • Ensure Services Management reporting
  • Work as a team member within the organisation to provide a resilient service.

 

Minimum requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 4 years of experience in the same or very similar role
  • Strong technical skills identifying and diagnosing maintenance issues
  • Experience with implementing project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to create, analyze and interpret internal reports  and provide feedback with areas of improvements
  • A previous experience in managing digital marketing /e-commerce/customer services projects will be considered a plus
  • Experience with digital technologies: HCL Commerce, VTEX, J2EE, WebService, REST API, micro-services, front-end technologies, Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management tools (e.g. SAP MDM, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, etc), online payment providers systems (e.g. Worldpay, Adyen, , 3D Secure, Paypal, etc), Google Cloud Platform applications.
  • Experience with SAP technologies: SAP CRM Services, SAP SD-MM-EWM-PP.
