Job Mission

We are looking for an IT Architect in the Digital Marketing, and eCommerce areas. This role will partner with various digital stakeholders, in business and IT, corporate and regional, in order to create and drive Whirlpool EMEA’s strategic architecture direction for eCommerce and digital platforms. The ultimate goal is to ensure an ecosystem of fit-for-purpose digital platforms that allow Whirlpool to achieve its business results. Other key elements of this role are to ensure our digital and eCommerce environments are stable, agile and performant, scalable, applying DevOps approach/tools/platforms and leveraging reusable assets, ensuring compliance to security and data privacy standards. The ecosystem is end-to-end, covering eCommerce, websites, digital marketing, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, API management, back-end and third party integrations.

 

 

Activities

 

  • Manage growth of capabilities and technology roadmap development for eCommerce, digital marketing applications, DevOps and CI/CD with multiple providers in a dynamic distributed environment
  • Manage and align internal, external and global sponsor on key changes, priorities and need to meet EMEA needs and drive business value
  • Deliver with the business regional team key priorities per markets that are common while supporting specific needs, and remaining within confine budget to maximize cost effectiveness
  • Interact with regional and countries business units within EMEA region
  • Interact with EMEA and Corporate IT organizations to align on solutions and practices

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Deep understanding of the typical Digital, eCommerce, integration and DevOps needs, challenges and opportunities for a multinational company
  • 6+ years of experience in digital design and delivery experience
  • Deep knowledge in eCommerce, CMS, Front-end solutions and frameworks
  • Deep design experience with J2EE, WebServices, API, micro-services, mobile and front-end technologies
  • Experience with applications integrations, in particular with SAP (i.e. CRM, ERP) suite and online payment tools (i.e. Adyen, Worldpay)
  • Experience with Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, Campaign Marketing tools and solutions
  • DevOps and CI/CD design and delivery experience
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and other Cloud (i.e AWS) applications
  • Strong technical skills to create/review technical design documents, integration design documents and architecture data flows 
  • Strong technical skills to conduct code quality reviews with lead developers
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations and how to implement them
  • Project Management skills (better with Agile or PMO certification)
  • Effectively manage IT and business stakeholders, across different departments and levels
  • Manage internal and external resources to drive results
  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in English  
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or MBA
