We are currently hiring an Assembly Quality Value Stream Manager in our Marion, OH facility


  1. Lead a team of Quality Engineers, overseeing the following activities:
    • Utilize external and internal indicators by means of the QA Matrix to prioritize, initiate, and drive kaizens to improve quality KPIs
    • Utilize Quality Emergency Work Order tool (includes Gemba, 5Why, 4M, 5QFZD) to solve root causes of emerging internal quality issues
    • Create, improve, and implement the processes and controls (i.e. poka yokes) to continuously improve the Marion QA Network
    • Timely and consistent communication of issues with the operations, process engineering, and product teams
    • Create, approve, and update control plans, PFMEA, and other preventive quality tools
    • Propose and evaluate product design changes with cross-functional teams to improve Quality KPIs
    • Non-conformance material evaluation and disposition
    • Execute, update, and maintain Layered Process Audits
    • Product Hold trigger and release management in Finished Goods Warehouse
    • Manage Safe Launch program to protect customer through changes to process and product design


  1. Advance QC (Quality Control) Pillar in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Journey:
    • Leadership in QC Pillar as QC Specialist for Man/Method Issues
    • Develop expertise in key QC Competencies and coach Pillar Team members to drive deep understanding and effective utilization of QC Methods


 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • 2+ year of Quality process improvement experience


 Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience as a people leader
  • Understanding and utilization of (WCM) World Class Manufacturing methodology
  • Technical problem solving skills
  • Six Sigma Green belt / Black belt certification
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership skills, able to create and lead interdisciplinary teams
  • Competitive mindset and highly creative problem solver
  • Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, JMP, Google Suite, Light Scripting)
