The Global Product Organization (GPO) leads the company's Product Leadership strategy by ensuring global leverage and alignment between product businesses, engineering, technology, and consumer design to deliver the best cost, best quality, best innovation, and best use of global assets. The true power of a global organization like GPO is realized in this leverage of all the advantages and scale of the largest, global appliance company. The Global Product Organization is organized in various groups overseeing different major domestic appliances categories and technologies. The incumbent will be working within the Refrigeration platform, inside the planning team, in charge of defining the platform long term objectives and the strategy to reach them at global level. The role is based in Joinville, with 2 direct reports, also based in Joinville,  and reporting line to the Planning Leader, based in Italy.

 

Main activities:

 

Innovation: ➔ Develops and maintains Platform Innovation Strategy in alignment with Food Journey Opportunity Spaces and Product Attribute Leadership Strategy as well as Consumer trends and insights ➔ Builds up Refrigeration Platform Innovation Portfolio based on available budget by working with regional Product Directors to understand key consumers' pain points and then with Attribute Leaders and Advanced Development & Innovation team to identify most suitable solutions and required resources gathering all information to run projects prioritization

Competitive Intelligence: ➔ Develops and maintains the global platform attribute comparison charts & competitive product roadmap to get a clear Current and Furture Competitive landscape by collecting and synthesizing information coming from Marketing teams, Design team, Attribute Leaders and other Process Partners and translating them in actionable insight and future predictions 
QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and architecture strategy: ➔ Works with the regional Product Directors and Consumer Insight Directors to understand and analyze consumer research and then work with engineering teams to translate VoC (Voice of Consumer) into VoE (Voice of Engineering) to define architecture and product requirements
Attribute Management: ➔ Ensures we have a Platform Attributes Strategy by coordinating Attribute Leaders (across both refrigeration platforms) in the definition of Technology roadmap, solution catalogue and futuring (new trends and competitors' movements)
 
Mandatory Requirements 
 
Degree in BA in engineering
English fluent knowledge
Prior experience in either Consumer Research & Insight, or Innovation, or Strategic Planning or Global Marketing role.
