Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Sr Analyst Engineer opening to join our Freestanding
Range Cooking Global Product Organization team as a System Integrator Engineer


The Basics
System Integrator position for the Freestanding Range Platform, responsible to develop Global projects, integrating all subsystems and cross functional teams with the common goal of delivering products that meet customer requirements and expectations, following the Whirlpool Product Development process.

This is a core leadership function on the development of new projects, responsible to ensure project
development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements coming out of the voice of the stakeholders such as: cost, quality and performance targets.
Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails.
Responsible for driving full system validation through predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and production validation stages.
This opportunity is located in Joinville - Santa Catarina, Brazil, and it is part of the Global Product Organization responsible for the full product life cycle, from concept to retirement.


What you will do/ Your day to day
● Act as the technical project leader, coordinating subsystem development activities and system
● Lead technical design reviews for project to provide an assessment of whether the project is
within the architecture/project/product plan guardrails by working with key development team
members (e.g. Subsystem teams, V&V Strategist, Manufacturing, Procurement, Project Leader)
and by consulting with key architecture development team members when necessary (e.g.
Platform System Architect, Subsystem SMEs, V&V Strategist)

● Manage system integration both in develop and regional execution phases
● Manage decisions for design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and issues within the project/product
plan guardrails
● Manage/Release EBOMS based on project charter and architecture definition
● Drive virtual simulations and physical prototypes as per V&V plan
● Drive closure of dFMEA action plans and updated Occurrence and Detection, based on Concept
and Design Validation data and functional performance stacks
● Manage stakeholder and product requirements along the project, ensuring they are all met


Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• 3 or more years of System Integration or Product development experience
• Advanced or Fluent English
• Ability to work cross-functionally and good communication skills


Prefered Requirements
• Critical thinking in problem solving
• 6 sigma/Opex knowledge
• Project management tools, as schedule and risk management
• FMEA methodology experience
• Systems Engineering and Requirements management knowledge
