This Role In Summary:

The 3rd Shift Superintendent needs to provide leadership and drive business performance across all segments of our manufacturing plant inclusive of assembly, machining, and paint operations.  This position will have a responsibility in making critical business and personnel decisions while leading this overall shift towards operational excellence. 

  

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Responsible for delivering on key performance areas in respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Responsible for coaching and development of salaried people leaders and hourly associates.
  • Provide direction to salaried People Leaders in the accomplishment of manufacturing plan goals consistent with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost expectations
  • Provide coaching and developmental guidance and direction to immediate direct reports to assist with their continued development and progress of self-directed work teams through capability building
  • Lead & coach others on problem-solving activities to drive continuous improvement activities in key areas
  • Work cross-functionally with team members from all areas to remove barriers and collaborate on issue resolution
  • Coordinate activities to support new product implementation, engineering projects and manufacturing needs
  • Maintain a dependable and dedicated workforce through open communications and the ability to drive and sustain change

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
