Job mission:

The  World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Specialist supports the implementation of Focused Improvement (FI) methodologies in the plant as well as tracking all project activities to ensure the plant achieves financial goals. He/she ensures that all the WCM tools and methodologies are deployed and applied properly in the plant. He/She can be the Focused Improvement Pillar Leader or Co-Pillar Leader leading the pillar strategy and performing audits. 

 

Your task in the role will include:

  • Prioritize the financial losses to be attacked at plant level
  • Deploying proper WCM tools & methods to the organization
  • Managing Kaizen activities  and coaching project leaders/members  on methodology
  • Researching and developing learning materials on intermediate and advanced problem solving methods
  • Tracking plant performance and devise strategies to maintain or reach corporate goals
  • Establishing and maintaining the documentation of processes 
  • Preparing WCM audit
  • Ensure the right involvement at shop-floor level and bottom up project generation
  • Ensure continuous improvement activities 

 

Background and experience: 

  • Engineering Master degree 
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in an industrialized manufacturing environment 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of intermediate/advanced WCM tools
  • High degree of problem solving skills, ability to identify the root causes as well as solutions and countermeasures
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and logically
  • English fluent
