This role in summary

The Innovation Cooking Technology Manager will be within the Advanced Development and Innovation Team. This role will be responsible for the development and feasibility of cooking advanced innovation projects. 


Your responsibilities will include 

  • Develop new cooking technologies including innovation in the field of induction cooking
  • Create  multiple concepts and progress to Proof of Concept prototypes that address the Voice of Consumer
  • Manage and drive technical feasibility assessment and the evaluation of project and technology proposals
  • Part of a cross functional team to progress new technology development towards scalable solutions, including cooking subsystem, electronics, marketing and design
  • Support technical and innovation roadmaps
  • Contribute to the IP portfolio 


 Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 8 years of industry experience developing consumer goods products
  • Proven experience in development of Induction Cooking technology
  • Inventor spirit, exceptional problem solving, analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Demonstrated technology acumen of Power Electronics, Power Conversion or Motor Control background and/or solid knowledge of Induction Cooking Technology

  • Creative thinker that seeks to disrupt the status quo, constantly pushing for better ways to stimulate the creative development of ideas
  • Strong independence: capable of working autonomously with limited guidance
  • Demonstrated technology acumen - Expert skill and knowledge in appropriate application areas (subject matter, category, etc)
  • Proficient in Six Sigma, Project Management and Systems Engineering concepts and tools
  • Experience with globally diverse teams
  • Proven experience in definition and generation of sustainable IP portfolio
