This position is responsible for providing a leadership role for Logistics and Customer Service as part of the Whirlpool Production System (WPS) central team.  This position's main function is to be the coordinator, coach and central lead for Logistics and Customer Service (LCS) by developing and communicating pillar methods and standards across the regions.



  • Coordinate Pillar coaching and training at plants
  • Maintain LCS playbook and continuously evaluate best practices
  • Evaluate and follow-up on internal/external feedback to plants’ pillar activities
  • Facilitate Pillar Workshops in Plants (with regional support)
  • Expert resource in developing LCS Route Map, methodological standards, business processes and training
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of effective communication network with plant LCS pillar leaders, corporate functions, World Class Manufacturing association, etc.
  • Coordinate with pillar business leaders to develop organizational vision for LCS activities and direction
  • Assist pillar business leader in communicating pillar strategy and direction
  • Responsible for standard execution of LCS playbook across all regions
  • To monitor target and score and KPI’s for LCS for all plants in the region
  • To be “team builder” for Pillar plant leaders
  • To identify priority of intervention on the Pillar of your responsibility in order to full fill the gaps
  • To develop and follow plants on their LCS Cost Deployment
  • Rigorous planning for Audit and Pre-audit based on audit criteria
  • Travel +50%, United States and Mexico



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain
  • 3 plus years of Logistics - Material Flow, packaging development or transportation
  • Experience working in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) environment



  • Ability to manage multiple activities across multiple plants
  • Willingness and ability to build knowledge in Whirlpool Production System and World Class Manufacturing methodology
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across business areas
  • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying levels of leadership in manufacturing, and global counterparts and business process partners
  • Previous experience in driving/leading improvements in Logistics Customer Service
