Function Overview

We are seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Systems Integrator, Information Systems role  located at our Benton Harbor, MI Corporate Headquarters. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for integration architecture & design review, platform management, governance and operational support for Whirlpool's integration & middleware platforms.


Job Responsibilities

  • Review integration architecture and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure integration design adheres to industry best practices and Whirlpool’s Integration standards.
  • Responsible for delivering on project & operational commitments, drive simplification by advocating reuse & leveraging standard global integration platforms. Lead continuous improvement activities by reducing non-standard integrations, ensure integration platforms are periodically patched with relevant security patches, software updates and automate monitoring processes.
  • Responsible for managing integration scope of work for projects across business areas & govern compliance to Whirlpool's integration design principles, development standards, security and change management processes. Manage business demand in a timely & effective manner and deliver upon operational commitments.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation repository, integration landscape diagram(s), development standards, integration decision tree and services catalog.
  • Responsible for driving day-to-day operational activities for integration & middleware group ensuring platforms are adequately monitored and incidents are resolved within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Drive towards compliance for change management, incident management, request fulfilment and problem management processes.
  • Review and approve architectural changes within integration portfolio, provide technical guidance & perform design reviews thereby assisting vendors and project teams.
  • Lead the integration operations group, manage escalations and delivery of enhancement requests.
  • Drive root cause analysis working along with the technical support teams.
  • Build and maintain cordial relationship with whirlpool BRMs (business relationship managers) and suppliers. Manage business demand and expectations effectively & in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with the business and be an advocate for integration services group. Create service catalogs for business needs and help drive five-star customer experience.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of work experience in an Information Technology role.
  • 1+ years of systems integration experience involving web services, A2A & B2B integration


Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Applications.
  • Experience using SAP products like SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP Process Integration (PI), SAP Solution Manager, SAP Portal and/or SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  • Exposure to service management tools like ServiceNow will be an added advantage.     
  • Ability to multitask, manage vendor resources & meet stringent timelines.
