Senior Manager - Business Human Resources



Function Overview
Whirlpool is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to join the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team, North America Region (NAR), Whirlpool’s largest P&L. This person will be the strategic Resources Business Partner for the ISC leads in Quality, Planning & Strategy, Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (GAME), and Customer Fulfillment. This includes support to a team of more than 2,000 employees. He/she will be responsible for developing and executing organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals while providing coaching to people leaders. 
There is plenty of variety in this role. Today, you will work on driving organizational effectiveness to ensure “fit for purpose” structure. Tomorrow, you might be identifying the future leadership pipeline and partnering with leaders to identify appropriate development actions. Or build out engagement plans to increase team effectiveness; possibilities are endless. 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to lead and drive people excellence to enable ISC to achieve their deliverables and positively impact Whirlpool’s North America business 
  • Drive business strategy and change for ISC including talent strategies
  • Act as Coach to employees and business leaders
  • Consult with ISC leadership team and ISC HR staff to proactively interpret and leverage data to diagnose and solve talent challenges and implications
  • Leverage COE driven solutions to meet business objectives and organizational issues
  • Partner with HR Operations to enable two-way information sharing on ISC’s needs and ensure positive business outcomes
  • Facilitate problem solving using Continuous Improvement methodology
  • Participate with others in completing special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements::

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years progressive experience in human resources, partnering with senior level business executives

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources 
  • MBA
  • Business Acumen: Uses extensive knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Excellence strategy to improve talent and business outcomes
  • Strategic Partner: Develops effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Creates an effective and strong organization by utilizing organizational diagnosis tools, leveraging organization design principles, and building organization capabilities in line with Whirlpool’s core values to win against the competition
  • Data-driven Insights: Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making
  • Coach: Uses coaching and influencing skills to successfully drive change and leaders’ ownership/accountability
  • Change Champion: Partners to lead and sustain change creating an agile and responsive organization
