Senior Analyst, Healthcare Analytics

Function Overview:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Analyst, Healthcare Analytics to join our Global Human Resources organization. This position aids in developing and deploying a Healthcare Analytics Strategy aimed at understanding and improving the physical well-being of our employee base.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter experts of the function to evaluate the success and effectiveness of corporate healthcare initiatives, programs, and end-to-end processes; and recommend the appropriate solutions for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Analyze overall trends in workforce productivity and recommend solutions to improve population health, network performance, and benefit plan design
  • Develops US Healthcare Benefits reporting & analytics strategy, process, tools/templates, dashboards
  • Develop solutions to integrate benefits analytics into broader analytics strategy and drive analysis to actionable insights.  
  • Collaborate on Talent Analytic priorities outside healthcare as needed
  • Partner with other regional Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Business HR to align Analytics priorities and initiatives with business priorities and organizational need.  
  • Assess external trends, evaluate the effectiveness of programs and procedures, and apply leading practices/benchmarking to align external leading practices with internal business and organizational needs; share Whirlpool’s best practices with other organizations.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 + years of experience in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Science, or Public Health Administration
  • 3 + years of healthcare analytics experience working with claims, clinical, or financial data

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Data Analytics or Healthcare Administration
  • Knowledge of Health data sources and data management
  • Business Acumen: Uses knowledge and insight about the business to design and advise on solutions to improve talent and business outcomes
  • Strategic Partner: Develops collaborative relationships to accurately diagnose business needs; partners to identify the right solutions, and ensures achievement of business outcomes
  • Data-Insights Driven: Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making
  • Experience using programming languages (i.e. Python, Java) and/or BI tools (i.e. Tableau)
  • Functional Knowledge Expert: Applies and shares deep functional knowledge and expertise; aware of industry trends, benchmarks, and external leading practices
  • Program Developer: Identifies requirements for building end-to-end strategies, programs, and plans; drives and influences process changes and improvements across multiple functions and geographies; and evaluates the effectiveness of programs, focusing on continuous improvement
  • Global Mindset: Uses the understanding of global business needs and regional/local differences, as well as knowledge of various HR customer types (executive, white collar, blue collar, retirees, candidates, etc.), to develop appropriate solutions
