Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Lead System Analyst to join our Global Information Systems team.  Working with Integrated Supply Chain partners in defining business requirements, developing technology solutions to deliver business capabilities, consulting with software providers to help implement the best solutions in our environment.  This role can also be filled with a strong SAP technical resource possessing business acumen and abilities to fulfill Business Relationship Manager duties while delivering on technical solutions.



  • Responsible for design and development on critical customer-impacting projects
  • Ensures high quality in both design and development tasks
  • Works closely with agile development teams
  • Assists with enforcing WHR's coding standards across our pool of developers both internal and external (third party)
  • Brings forward-thinking development mindset to cutting edge technologies in and associated with SAP
  • Utilizes SAP development tools and technologies such as Eclipse, Fiori, OData Services, etc.
  • Conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Works with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions.
  • Estimates system configuration and development efforts for self and functional area
  • Is available, if necessary, to provide 24-hour on call support, including evenings and weekends
  • Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle up to and through change control
  • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
  • Reviews system test plans and can perform robust system tests before implementation
  • Participate in the development, review of business or technical documentation (user guides, process flow charts, training materials)
  • Works with the user to select or create appropriate scenarios to test all results to determine whether system changes met project specifications; uses scenarios to assist the end user in acceptance testing
  • In upgrades, monitors production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users
  • Update documentation along with change requests that are approved to migration into production
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and diverse teams
  • Provides hands-on expertise for functional and technical activities related to SD processes
  • Participate in corporate change management release planning, project portfolios and intake forecasting processes



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline. 
  • 3 plus years’ experience working in or supporting a supply chain organization; Planning, Order Management and Logistics



  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Influential leader that partners well with all areas of the business
  • Clear written and oral communication skills specifically as it relates to relaying business requirements
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Coaching organizations on Agile methodologies
  • Strong configuration skills within SAP SD, Materials Management (MM)
  • Implementation experiences of medium to large scale project go lives
  • Experience supporting midsize operations for at least 2 years
  • Proven ability to read and debug ABAP code and custom SAP enhancements, incl. BAPI’s, user-exits, interfaces
  • Understanding of middleware and integration concepts, API’s, SAP BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Proxy Objects, SAP PI/PO functions
  • Business Process Modelling techniques and related tool sets (ie. Google Drawings, Lucid Charts, Visio, etc)
  • Strong understanding of software life cycle and system implementation methodologies
  • Key understanding of Agile Methodologies 
  • Experience supporting systems and processes in a global supply chain with distributed IT teams
  • Experience with Service Now and Change Management/Control
  • Experience with product development, manufacturing and supply chain concepts (e.g. KANBAN, LEAN)
