FUNCTION OVERVIEW:

The Jenn-Air Sales Market Manager is the dedicated sales resource for the Jenn-Air brand across all channels. This person will have accountability for Jenn-Air and ownership of the total marketplace.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic and business planning for territory
  • Identify business opportunities in the marketplace through all distribution points
  • Develop/implement tactical plans based on marketplace analytics
  • Sell through emphasis on replacement and suite sales
  • Implementation of national consumer and co-marketing promotions through trade customers
  • Develop and execute key event and advertising calendar for each trade customer
  • Utilize and direct strategic growth funds for events, advertising and sell through activities
  • Develop and manage to a travel budget
  • Jenn-Air product training
  • Trade customer, designers, architects, key influencers, builders, etc..
  • Luxury consumer
  • Product - features/benefits
  • Service and Installation
  • Coordinate/manage relationships and events with trade customers, designers, influencers and architects
  • Develop relationships with buyers and store managers at trade customer locations
  • Identify, develop and sell key designers, architects and influencers in super premium business
  • Connect key contacts and relationship to existing trade base
  • Grow and manage existing displays at trade customer locations, design centers, model homes and kitchen dealer locations
  • Setting, implementing, and owning individual store locations plan to sell
  • Implementation of brand point of sale material
  • Expanding floor presence through model home and kitchen dealer programs
  • Implement marketing plans and initiatives across all channels
  • National and local brand marketing plans using strategic growth funds
  • Travel 25-30% of the time within designated territory:  Florida

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business
  • 5 plus years consumer goods sales experience

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in sales, marketing or business
  • Luxury consumer goods sales experience 
  • Superior training and engaging presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to find and establish new business opportunities
  • Ability to develop business plans and drive sales strategy
  • Experience in best practices for connecting with designer and influencer community
  • Experience, knowledge, and insight of Luxury brands, products, and customer base preferred
  • Specific experience in remodel or the super-premium single-family new construction segments
  • Ability to showcase product with passion for cooking demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of the replacement and suite purchase process
  • Strong analytical and merchandising skills
