Project Analyst, GIS Home Services Technology
 

This role in summary
This role is within the Home Services Technology GIS team and provides support for the Field and Home Services teams within the Consumer Services organization. This role involves supporting project related work, scoping of system enhancement requests, user acceptance testing, and some incident management. Technical aptitude and familiarity with our systems (SAP,Service Bench, JIra)  and testing practices will increase the potential for success in this role.  The ideal candidate would also have experience working on or leading projects and key initiatives.  

 

This role will sit in either Benton Harbor, MI or Cleveland, TN.
 
Your responsibilities will include

  • Lead small to medium sized technology projects, or work in coordination with project manager and with cross-functional teams on large/mega projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and scope business requirements and needs
  • Manage support tickets and requests for the Home Services Technology team supported applications/processes
  • Communicate effectively and knowledgeably about projects and goals
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions through internal or vendor resources
  • Work flexible hours around deployments
  • Support the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) for new projects or system enhancements
  • What does a typical day look like in this role: 
    • 1/3rd of the day organizing projects (project plans, meeting updates, communicating updates, etc.)
    • 1/3rd of the day documenting (requirements, stories, knowledge documentation,etc)
    • 1/3rd of the day technical troubleshooting, implementation planning, and covering solutions

 
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of technology experience
  • Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Agile Project management or project team experience

 

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Knowledge of G Suite and the Google Enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of Integrations between systems (file transfers, API’s, etc)
  • Service management knowledge ((ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), change management, etc)
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment (face to face & remote)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated personal accountability for results
