Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Professional Maintenance Manager opening to join the Operations Excellence organization within the Integrated Supply Chain. This position is a key leadership team member within the Whirlpool Production System central team. This position is responsible for providing a leadership role for Autonomous and Professional Maintenance (PM) as part of the Whirlpool Production System (WPS) central team.  This position's main function is to be the coordinator, coach and central lead for PM by developing and communicating pillar methods and standards across the regions.



  • Coordinate Pillar coaching and training at plants
  • Maintain PM playbook and continuously evaluate best practices
  • Evaluate and follow-up on internal/external feedback to plants’ pillar activities
  • Facilitate Pillar Workshops in Plants (with regional support)
  • Expert resource in developing PM Route Map, methodological standards, business processes and training
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of effective communication network with plants AM/PM pillar leaders, corporate functions, World Class Manufacturing association, etc.
  • Coordinate with pillar business leaders to develop organizational vision for PM activities and direction
  • Assist pillar business leader in communicating pillar strategy and direction
  • Responsible for standard execution of PM playbook across all regions
  • To monitor target and score for PM for all plants on the region
  • To be “team builder” for Pillar plant leaders
  • To identify priority of intervention on the Pillar of your responsibility in order to full fill the gaps
  • To have knowledge in training process on manufacturing environment
  • Rigorous planning for Audit and Pre-audit based on audit criteria
  • This role will be in charge to follow up and support plant Pillar Leaders to prepare Pillar Presentations.
  • Travel 50% plus



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business 
  • 5 plus years Professional Maintenance Pillar leader in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) environment
  • 5 plus years conducting World Class Manufacturing (WCM) audits



  • Maintenance Management background and experience will be differential 
  • Ability to manage multiple activities across multiple plants
  • Willingness and ability to build knowledge in Whirlpool Production System and World Class Manufacturing methodology
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across business areas
  • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying levels of leadership in manufacturing, and global counterparts and business process partners
  • Previous experience in driving/leading improvements in Professional Maintenance with Autonomous Maintenance knowledge
