Product Marketing Manager, KitchenAid

 
Function Overview
 
We are seeking qualified candidates for a Product Marketing Manager opening to join the global KitchenAid Small Appliance organization. 
 
This position consists of managing a robust global product development pipeline and commercializing programs from the idea stage all the way to execution and beyond. This is your opportunity to step into a significant leadership role that will be demanding and have significant visibility.This position will utilize your marketing, product development, program management and leadership experience and insight supporting our Healthy & Fresh (Food Processors) Category.
 

Job Resposnibilities

  • Develop a vision and strategy for the global product platform you lead
  • Develop and own product plans with right innovation and product cadence aligned with brand architecture.
  • Leverage consumer insights to drive fact-based, consumer-centric decisions that support our premium brand leadership positioning.
  • Develop & present project business cases including pro forma financials, capital and engineering requirements, and other decision metrics. 
  • Accomplish results through strong cross-functional (including Sales, Brand, Engineering and Technology, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.) relationships and leadership including product development and launch activities.
  • Accelerate time-to-market while adhering to the Whirlpool Product Development (WPD) process. Drive cross-functional tollgate reviews to bring concepts from ideation stage to production. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to simplify platforms and align future product plans with the strategy.
  • Deliver cost and quality targets for your platform. Coordinate activities with cost and quality leads to develop robust plans to hit and/or exceed targets.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in product development marketing
  • 2+ years of consumer goods experience in areas of brand and/or project management

 
Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA strongly preferred
  • PMO creation or management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the WPD  (or similar Stage Gate) methodology
  • Capability to quickly grasp and execute continuous improvement methodologies to various processes
