Function Overview

Global Materials Organization is responsible for delivering disruptive and innovative material driven technologies into the appliance space. The planner will have a key role in driving this initiative through tools of continuous improvement and strategic planning.


Job Description

  • Support Global Materials team with Materials Planning activities, as a mirror of the platform planning leads
  • Analyze, control accuracy and optimize internal resources and budget control, reporting cost and process improvements
  • Driver of operational continuous improvement activities (for BSC, project/cost trackers etc) and analyzes material commitments and resources


Minimum Requirements 

  • Degree in Materials/Chemical/Industrial  Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain

Preferred Requirements 

  • Advanced Google tools and Microsoft Office Skills (especially google spreadsheets (pivot table, data analysis, formula recognition), Google documents, excel worksheets)
  • Ability to manage and coordinate processes and process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and prioritize job responsibilities
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Excellent presentation skills including strong oral and writing skills and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, and able to lead and influence
  • A plus: Financial expertise and ability to create budgets, models, etc. and basic knowledge of Tableau
