Maytag Digital Brand Manager

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Digital Brand Manager to join the Maytag brand team based at our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.


Functional Overview
We are seeking a consumer-first, data-led, and results driven professional with previous consumer goods marketing experience. In this critical role you will lead all digital marketing strategies for Maytag Brand and manage a multi-million dollar budget to deliver the digital program.


Job Responsibilities

  • Motivated self-starter with strong consumer insights skills and the ability to translate insights to action for digital, within the larger master brand strategies. 
  • Strong leader with robust analytical and data-analysis skills balanced with an eye for our target segment. 
  • Deliver high level thinking to maintain focus on our long term strategy but is also able to create and execute highly impactful digital deliverables.
  • Drive search engine marketing and optimization, desktop and mobile site development and optimization, CRM communication and loyalty strategy, and is critical to the success of our annual national consumer promotion May is Maytag Month. 
  • Managing team and cross-functional relationships internally and externally is a critical part of the role, along with the ability to influence and drive change across the broader organization. 
  • Experience creating insights-based strategies and executing the accompanying creative through agencies either internal or external. 
  • Data-driven approach with proven results
  • Consumer-insight approach with proven results
  • Agency management experience (internal or external)
  • Brief writing experience
  • Experience managing .com, OCM, email, SEO/SEM (“digital ecosystem”)
  • Familiarity with media driving traffic to site (need not have managed the media)
  • Ability to translate the brand strategy into actionable plans for the digital ecosystem. Digital ecosystem assets should support the overall marketing plan, beyond digital.
  • This position will require up to 25% travel (generally day trips for agency meetings).

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 4+ years experience in marketing, brand management or agency
  • 2+ years of consumer goods marketing experience
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience


Preferred Requirements

  • Degree concentration in Business, Communications, Journalism, PR and/or MIS/IT
  • MBA
  • External agency management experience
  • Budget management
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Content management
