Manager, Supply & Logistics



Function Overview:

The Manager Supply & Logistics is a member of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team within the Integrated Supply Chain organization.  This team is tasked with managing the process to balance supply and demand for the corporation, maximizing customer service while minimizing inventory.  This specific role will be responsible for representing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and production planning within broader North American Region (NAR) strategic initiatives such as Manufacturing 2020, Home Delivery, Order Commitment, and Commercial Business Planning.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a clear vision for the future of production planning connecting broader North American Region (NAR) and Supply Chain initiatives to current internal continuous improvement efforts.
  • Represent production planning on cross-functional project teams and initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and develop with Global Information Systems (GIS) the roadmap for future system improvements.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning
  • 1+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement methodology


Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain
  • Experience with Whirlpool planning and execution systems (APS and SAP)
  • Experience leading a cross-functional project team
  • Strong analytical ability
