This Role In Summary:

We are looking for someone to join us as the Internet of Things, 'Food Journey' Project Manager, Global Information Systems Senior Analyst. The role will be accountable for the relationship with major brands/business functions and the delivery of medium to large projects for the Internet of Things (IoT) Business Unit. This will require you to be able to create a strategy or technology roadmap, assess new demands with business partners, manage operational activities supporting the business function’s application and infrastructure stack, establish sustainable plans for technology as well as end-user training/change management, evaluate short and long-term technology solutions, manage technology evaluation and procurement processes, manage resource plans and budgets and coordinating activities across various functions. 




Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task, and workflow analysis and/or viewpoints
  • Partner closely with key business and cross-functional leads internally and externally, daily on operational assigned tasks, as well as on driving strategic needs and continuous improvement to capture key learnings for future projects
  • Co-Lead offshore developer execution of technical roadmap side by side with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Solution Architect
  • Manage project financials, quality and schedule, issue/risk management resolution and mitigation plans, communication plan and execution
  • Apply thought leadership to anticipate, own and lead the process internally and externally to resolve issues
  • Engage the cross-functional team to prepare and deliver revisions in the form of a Change Orders to the agreed-upon Statement of Work for either a Develop or Execute project


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile or Waterfall Methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience with Internet of Things (IoT)


Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Possess technology understanding; experience in major Internet of Things (IoT) technology platforms is a plus (Bluemix, Machine to Machine (M2Ms), Mobile Development, etc.)
  • Project Management and Agile Certifications (i.e. Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, priorities, and commitments concurrently
  • Ability to network cross-functionally across multiple organizations with the ability to win the confidence and trust of colleagues
  • Superior oral and written communication skills 
  • Experience collaborating and influencing executive audiences
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational and project requirements
  • Strong negotiation and influence capabilities
  • Demonstrated value creator; delivery of results and meeting expectations
  • Confidence in the face of adversity and an ability to work through uncertainty
  • A positive, winning attitude
  • Working understanding of Google collaboration platform and project schedule software such as Smartsheets
  • Familiarity with cooking products and mobile application development is a plus
