Global Talent Management - Senior Manager, Organization Effectiveness


This Role in Summary
This position is a critical member of the Global Talent Community of Expertise (COE). You will work closely with the Global Talent Management Senior Director and other Global Talent Management team members and process partners in defining solutions that meet the needs of our employees while ensuring alignment with the intended business outcomes. 


This position provides you with the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals, internal and external, to Whirlpool Corporation and across all regions. The focus of this role will be on designing and delivering programs that meet the needs of the talent base, with a focus on our Organization Effectiveness (OE) framework, tools, and capability-building approach. 


Given this is a global role, it can reside in any significant Whirlpool location such as Benton Harbor/St. Joseph, Michigan, Brazil, Italy, India, or Hong Kong. 


Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Establish and lead Whirlpool's Organization Effectiveness (OE) practice area within the Talent Management COE. 
  • Gain an understanding of the current state of Organization Effectiveness at Whirlpool across all regions, understanding the related business needs and existing OE tools, processes, and capability levels. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of leading external practices through research, benchmarking, etc., and apply learnings to Whirlpool's OE framework design and implementation.  
  • Develop and embed Whirlpool's OE framework, tools, and processes ensuring robust yet practical tools within each component of the framework and driving embedment within the appropriate business and talent planning processes.
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics COE to explore and establish the appropriate Organization Effectiveness data/metrics/analytics/dashboards. 
  • Partner with HR Information Systems (HRIS) to explore potential Organization Effectiveness technology solutions, such as org modeling tools.  
  • Develop and lead the OE capability-building approach for HR and with business leaders.  
  • Serve as a credible and trusted advisor to the business and HR on effective Organization Effectiveness strategies to achieve business goals, providing coaching and guidance as needed. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience with direct experience within Organization Effectiveness or HR Business Partner roles. 
  • Experience driving Organization Effectiveness, partnering with business leaders to design and implement organization design and effectiveness solutions. 
  • Project management experience driving end-to-end projects.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Experience working with talent-related data and analytics, including Organization Effectiveness metrics.
  • Experience working across the HR model, partnering with various teams such as HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Data & Analytics, & HRIS.


Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR Management, or Organization Development 
  • Master's Degree (MBA, Organization Development, or HR)
  • Experience working in a global role or across various regions and functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including synthesizing information into clear, concise messages in a compelling manner to internal stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering and utilizing external benchmarking and research. 
  • Understanding of Whirlpool's existing Organization Effectiveness framework and experience utilizing it.
