Global Information Systems Program Manager

 

This Role InSummary:

As a Global Information Systems Program Manager, you will play an invaluable role to act as a servant leader for Agile Release Scrum teams for effective delivery of Direct to Consumer/ Brand Marketing program objectives. 

 

This role is in the Global Information Systems Direct to Consumer/ Brand Marketing team and will mainly support Whirlpool North America (US, Canada, Mexico), but you will also be expected to collaborate and coordinate with groups across the globe.  

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Cross-functional teams, Technical Architects, Scrum Masters, and GIS Delivery lead to build the Release Train vision/ goals 
  • Understand business objectives and assist in capability prioritization 
  • Lead Program Increment planning sessions and other Scaled Agile Framework (SaFe) Agile release train ceremonies like Scrum of Scrums, Sprint Demos, Roadmap planning 
  • Manage risks and dependencies in the release train and help remove impediments
  • Work closely with DevOps team, Application Maintenance and Support (AMS team), Testing team to ensure successful delivery of new capabilities to production 
  • Ensure effective transitions from the development team to Application Maintenance and Support (AMS team)
  • Communicate progress on key initiatives to leadership and escalate when necessary 
  • Drive and implement continuous improvement to improve the quality of delivery, time to market, and overall performance of the program
  • Manages multiple suppliers and maintains strong relationships.  
  • Manage program budget and ensure delivery within the allocated budget 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 + years of experience in Information Technology (IT)
  • Experience delivering technology solutions using Agile methodology 

 

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • 5+ years of work experience delivering technology solutions 
  • Experience working as a Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master or Project manager
  • SaFe Agile methodology certification or experience delivering solutions in the SaFe agile framework
  • Experience using project management tools like Jira/Confluence
  • Experience working in large E-commerce/Digital Marketing projects
  • Understanding of Marketing technology stack
  • Understanding of Ecommerce Technologies
  • An influential leader that partners well with all areas of the business
  • Clear written and oral communication skills 
  • Coaching organizations on Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated values of teamwork, the spirit of winning, respect, and integrity
