Global Graphic Designer, KitchenAid Marketing


Function Overview
This Global Graphic Designer will be part of a dynamic team of creative professionals responsible for making ingredients (imagery, messages, video, recipes, etc.) critical to building connections between the KitchenAid brand and enthusiastic makers. As a team of thinkers and makers, we bring marketing strategy to life by generating content and shaping the visual expression of our brand. This role will join KitchenAid SDA organization based in our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.

Core skills include envisioning useful, usable, and desirable visual experiences expressed through the creation of graphic systems for promoting the brand across a variety of surfaces, media, and channels. 



  • Work closely with the Design Manager and multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to larger initiatives
  • Envision and design useful and progressive packaging solutions; create clear, legible solutions that deliver a successful retail experience
  • Create/develop graphic deliverables and strategies to be leveraged across all regions
  • Maintain and communicate brand strategy documents
  • Design visual concepts that align digital 
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to execute on overall project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Focus on personal growth with emphasis on demonstrating ability to manage small projects
  • Mentor junior staff through peer reviews and consultation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication, from an accredited school
  • 4+ years design experience in a corporate, advertising, web design or consulting office, with emphasis on visual brand development


Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining brand design standards
  • Experience creating assets for social media apps and mobile websites
  • Excellent graphic design skills, people skills, decision making, self motivation and pro-activity
  • Experience in project planning with multidisciplinary teams 
  • Demonstrated understanding of production design for print and packaging (consumer products preferred)
  • Strong project planning skills, work breakdown schedules, and project reviews
  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels and functions of an organization via presentations and written/verbal communication
  • Ability to promote design thinking
  • Ability to create clear action plans
  • Experience designing visual concepts for web/ipad/smartphone app highly desirable
  • Exposure to motion graphics or interactive design
