Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Whirlpool Field Service Manager opening to join our Consumer and Appliance Care organization.

 

Function Overview

This role leads a team accountable for service company administration, compliance and audit processes.  You will authorize service companies to do business with Whirlpool while maintaining the relationship with 3rd parties responsible for background checks, warranty systems administration and standard practice communications.  Day to day includes authorizing service companies, managing a budget and auditing service experiences provided by process partners.

 

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work in a fast paced goal oriented environment. You will have an opportunity to learn new skills and will gain a comprehensive understanding of Whirlpool’s Field Service Organization and systems.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the warranty administration team

  • Manage service company compliance requirements

  • Lead warranty audit analytics team

  • Gather enhancement requirements for systems

  • Manage projects to evolve warranty systems administration

  • Lead process partner sourcing activities

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 2+ years of warranty administration experience

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Six Sigma Black Belt

  • SAP Skill Set

  • Ability to manage project tasks, scope and risks

  • Continuous Improvement skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation (written/verbal communication) skills

  • Strong understanding of ethics and compliance administration

  • Ability to work effectively & supportively within a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect

  • Demonstrates professionalism when representing the company

  • eCRM and Service Bench systems

  • Organizational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines

  • Independent thinker with a strong focus on processes & attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of contract law
