North American Region Sales Operations Channel Analyst

 

This role in summary

This is a role for individuals interested in working in the Sales Operations team in collaboration with our channel and process partners to enable and execute a variety of their operational needs including processing requests for pricing, promotions, sales agreements, reporting, data analysis, budget tracking, claims processing and providing support for other general processes including customer set-up while operating within and ensuring compliance to a number of Whirlpool’s policies.  Over $2B is paid annually to our trade customers for the various GTM activities and this role plays a critical part. 

 

Your responsibilities will Include

  • Understand the assigned channel’s Go To Market Strategy and provide guidance to the sales teams to facilitate not only their channel’s success but also any trade specific programs that may be needed.
  • Understand and enforce the assigned channel’s pricing policies and program rules by reviewing all trade specific requests for pricing and programming, rejecting any that fail to meet compliance/program standards.
  • Understand and enforce the myriad of policies and controls (meet comp, Systems and Organization Controls, Co-Op, etc) when reviewing all trade specific requests for pricing and programming, rejecting any that fail to meet compliance/policy standards.
  • Load trade customer programs, pricing requests and claims as requested.
  • Provide and understand program and insights reporting as required to the sales and finance teams. 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any concerns regarding program set-up, financial accruals and claims processed.    
  • Responsible for the understanding and ownership of the “master data” for the trade customers in the assigned channel which ultimately drives pricing, programming, payments and Whirlpool’s financial reporting.
  • Partner and communicate with cross-functional process partners including sales, finance, shared services, and 3rd party business partners

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years operations or sales experience

  • Multi-tasking with varied timelines and be results oriented
  • Able to work independently and without oversight
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills needed to troubleshoot problems with urgency.
  • Able to meet production goals with high degree of accuracy 
  • Able to support rapidly changing business demands.
  • Able to work with team members and process partners to support CI projects designed to drive process enhancements across the organization.
  • Familiarity with North American Region Go to Market strategies
  • Knowledge of Systems, System Applications and Products in Data Processing, BEX, Vistex, Anaplan & overall Pricing and Promotion processes a plus.
