Functional Overview

The JennAir Market Manager is responsible for growing the JennAir business within the Dallas/ Ft Worth/ West TX market.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities in the marketplace: growing business through existing distribution, new distribution and quoted builder business through existing ACD’s

  • Develop/implement tactical plans based on marketplace analytics

  • Sell-through emphasis on replacement and suite sales

  • Develop and execute key event and advertising calendar for each trade customer

  • Utilize and direct strategic growth funds for events, advertising and sell-through activities

  • Develop and manage to a travel budget

  • Plan and facilitate training

  • Coordinate/manage relationships and events with trade customers, designers, influencers and architects

  • Develop relationships with key contacts  at existing trade customer locations

  • Identify, develop and sell  designers, architects and influencers in luxury business

  • Setting, implementing and growing individual store displays and presence

  • Expanding presence through model home and kitchen dealer programs

  • Implementation of national consumer and co-marketing promotions through trade customers

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time within designated territory: Dallas/ Ft Worth/ West TX


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years sales experience in the consumer goods industry

  • Experience in developing business plans generating new business


Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Sales experience in luxury consumer goods

  • Ability to win new business

  • Experience connecting with designer and influencer community

  • Experience, knowledge and insights of luxury brands, products, and customer base

  • Ability to showcase products through cooking demonstrations

  • Knowledge of the replacement and suite purchase process

  • Superior training and engaging presentation skills

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical and merchandising skills
