The team you will be a part of

The Category Management team develops and implements marketing strategies to identify effective distribution channels. Researches and analyzes the marketplace to identify new channel, partnership and co-branding opportunities. Develops and monitors channel opportunities, licensing agreements, joint ventures and partnerships to maximize revenues. Designs, develops and implements marketing programs with third-party partners.

Actividades del Día a día

-Revisión del plan (profit plan & s&op) mensual vs status real
-Salvaguardar la interacción del portafolio entre los TPs: PTS
-Asegurar cumplimiento de plan mensual, y en caso de haber riesgo hacer cambios tácticos a través de estrategia de precios/promoción/cambio en plan to sell
-Planeación promocional siguientes meses para cumplir con profit plan de KPIs
-Tracking a precios de competencia
-Mantenimiento a plan promocional actualizando situación actual
-Mantenimiento mensual a listas de precios
-Accionar ante altas/bajas demandas vs plan (altas: repartir inventario disponible, preparar plan de acción con logística y/o s&op, baja: intensificar promoción o incluir en algún plan to sell de cliente)
-Participación en s&op o business plan (input de promociones-lift en sell out,-lift sell in, indent/entity)
- Proveer inputs para Business Cases de nuestros lanzamientos (MAPs, GASV, condiciones comerciales* y volumen), salvaguardar rentabilidad de categoría, revisión de potencial en mercado (size of the price), revisión de principales KPIs.
-Identificación de oportunidades incrementales en mercado (PDRs)
-PIPO (actividades relacionadas a Merch - detalle alineado en proceso de CI)
-Presentación de nuevas introducciones a ventas
-Presentación de nuevas introducciones a Trade Partners (JBPs)
-Estar al pendiente de los progresos o status de exhibiciones (daily, phase in, phase out)
-Tener touch-points con equipo directo para garantizar rentabilidad y/o accionar estrategias en caso de ser necesario
-Profit Plan (Forecast Financieros: March, June fcst)- varía proceso y responsabilidad por región
-Aterrizar inputs para Profit Plan alineado con las discusiones con S&OP, Planeación Estratégica, Commercial Excellence, Finanzas, Staff.


Conocimientos/habilidades Necesarios para ser exitoso en el rol
-Idioma: Español/Inglés
-Herramientas: Paquete Google, Excel (preferentemente avanzado), Tableau (preferentemente)
-Procesos: Business Plan o sesiones de colaboración para tener un pronóstico, entendimiento de tiempos de producción / llegadas / PIPO , PMR
-Habilidades: financieras, desarrollo de producto, negociación, liderazgo, manejo del estrés


Background and Experiences
-Licenciatura en Mercadotecnia, Administración de Empresas, Finanzas o afín.
-Experiencia de al menos 3 año en Merchandising, Marketing o área comercial
-Inglés fluido
-Excelente manejo de Excel y Google sheets
-Conocimiento/ manejo de Tableau (preferentemente)
-Experiencia en manejo de SAP (preferentemente)
-Excelente capacidad de análisis y solución de problemas
-Habilidades interpersonales, experiencia de trabajo en equipo.
-Habilidades financieras, desarrollo de producto, negociación, liderazgo, manejo del estrés
