Function Overview

Whirlpool is looking for a System Integrator Engineer for our Monterrey, Nuevo León. México

 Electronics & Electrical Systems Innovation (EESI) team.  This position will be responsible for planning and driving the integration of EES modules, including development, verification, and execution; working with cross-system teams during various phases of projects and across various technologies such as electronic boards, software, HMI’s, filters, harnesses, etc.


Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure project development activities are completed on time, meeting all requirements, including cost, quality & performance targets to support the project plans and project execution

  • Responsible for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails

  • Lead technical design reviews for project to provide an assessment of whether the project is within the architecture/project/product plan guardrails by working with key development team members (e.g. Subsystem teams, V&V Strategist, Project Leader) and by consulting with key architecture development team members when necessary (e.g. System Architect, Subsystem SMEs, V&V Strategist)

  • Responsible to drive full system validation through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and product validation stages


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline

  • 5+ years’ experience in an electrical systems integration role

  • 2+ years’ experience in project management


Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical, Mechatronics or Software Engineering

  • Problem solving approach with OPEX certification 

  • Systems thinker with INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification* or equivalent

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence others

  • Technical coaching abilities

  • System design and integration
