Analyst / Technical project 

Analyst, Sourced Product System Integrator 

Area: Global Product Development 


Function Overview

The Sourced Product System Integrator will manage multiple project schedules to ensure timely execution and adherence of suppliers to our technical specifications and project schedule.

In this position the engineer will engage the engineering team from other manufacturers and together work to improve Whirlpool product line ups through items we do not manufacture in our facilities

The Engineer will also engage cost and quality improvements related to the platforms we source

All projects will be related to built in cooking and kitchen ventilation products in all the regions we operate


Job Responsibilities

  • Convert marketing opportunities into technical specs for suppliers to quote

  • Based on product offers from supplier, engage Whirlpool teams to develop the project plan

  • Conduct the project from kick off to implementation. Respecting cost, schedule and quality targets.

  • Create FMEA ( Failure Modes, and Effect Analysis)

  • Create DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Report)

  • Create work plans ( schedules) to complete projects and introduce changes into production

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders as part of the project execution ( suppliers, Procurement, Subsystems, Marketing, Quality)

  • Carry out cost and quality activities affecting the platform


Minimum Requirements

  • If external : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Proficient in English

  • Good communication skills

  • Good project management skills

  • Proactive


Preferred Requirements

  • Intermediate user of MS Excel or Google Sheets

  • Good analytical skills
