Job scope

 

We are looking for a RTR Specialist to support the RTR Team, and to be responsible for specified day-to-day accounting activities for a number of Whirlpool entities. The role is located in the heart of Łódź, nearby Łódź – Fabryczna, (during pandemic we work remotely).

 

Your tasks in this role

  • Cooperate with Whirlpool entities across EMEA including online meetings
  • Perform bank postings, bank reconciliations, and review
  • Process manual journal entries, preparation of routine balance sheet reconciliations
  • Make allocations in the banks, incoming and outgoing, and reflect them in the system
  • Control internal loans and accruals postings
  • Process online sales of the Whirlpool products
  • Perform SOX audit control (internal, external)
  • Support of month-end reporting as instructed by RTR Lead
  • Generate and provide reports from the systems as required for financial, tax, and audit purposes
  • Perform the ad-hoc queries resolutions
  • Update and maintain all relevant operational guidelines which are to be followed up by RTR offshore team
  • Take part or Lead the Team Projects
     

Experience and background
Required

  • 1-2 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in the area of RTR
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP system
  • Very good command of English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel (pivot table, vlookup, etc.)

Preferred

  • Ability to work in an international environment and high communication skills 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
