Job scope
As a PTP Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Accounts Payable, Payments, and Scanning processes, in order to ensure achievement of defined targets. You will ensure all Company policies, systems, and procedures are adhered to. You will also coordinate and support projects and process improvements involving the Accounts Payable area.
The role is located in the heart of Łódź, nearby Łódź – Fabryczna, (during pandemic we work remotely).
Your tasks in this role

  • Review and action to ensure compliance to legal & fiscal requirements and to Whirlpool financial & accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordination & email follow up with various stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the accounts payable process
  • Creation and regular maintenance of documentation describing processes ( Flowcharts in PowerPoint), procedures (Standard Operating Procedure in the Word file) and team composition (detailed organizational chart with roles and responsibilities in PowerPoint), and any other necessary documentation, according to the company standard templates and rules
  • Exhibit positive role model behavior ensuring an environment that promotes an open culture fosters teamwork and enables continuous development
  • Assist with the closure of Accounts Payable Month End ensuring all bookings and reporting is completed, valid, and correct ready for month-end close by R2R Team
  • Prioritization of team workload to achieve agreed targets
  • Attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings with Accounts Payable Manager, reporting issues, potential improvements, and reviewing KPIs
  • Lead internal projects and support cross-functional projects with the aim to improve processes
  • Liaise on a regular basis with counterparts to ensure department workflow is fair and running as expected
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place and are regularly performed with due care
  • Communicate fully all situations that may affect the department's ability to meet its stated objectives, standards, and deadlines
  • Conduct 1-2-1 meetings with the team to ensure their needs are fully met
  • Manage and execute HR processes ensuring their implementation for his/her own population
  • Support talent management process (selection, development, coaching, and career path)
  • Ensure team spirit, good team-working environment, conflict negotiation, individual and group communication
  • Drive his/her group and enable the right level of cooperation among functions
  • Ensure communication of vision and strategy for his/her area of responsibility above and below within the organization
  • Attend Educational activities

 Previous experiences & qualifications required

  • Financial educational background
  • Experience in Accounts Payable Area (PTP would be a plus)
  • SSC/BPO environment 
  • Experience in leading and effectively managing the team to performance ( at least 1 year)
  • Customer Orientation and problem-solving approach
  • Master in Project Management
  • Ability to drive differentiated results
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and to make sound business decisions
