Job Mission

 

This position sits within Logistics & Planning, providing best in class product availability while optimizing inventory levels by defining mid & long-term planning strategy, and is part of Whirlpool’s wider Shared Service Centre central logistics function which facilitates cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers and effective inbound logistics network and transportation from suppliers to plants.

 

We are seeking skilled Demand Replenishment Planners who can ensure stock availability for their market categories through close daily monitoring and analysis work with colleagues in client management and replenishment teams.

 

These positions are part of a brand-new team in our Lodz shared service center, and key in delivering Whirlpool’s success of execution in the marketplace. You shall be a leading change agent for the new supply chain organization.

 

Your task in this role will include

 

  • Daily monitoring of managed cluster stock availability, identifying out of stocks (ongoing or future) or potential excess stock to be escalated to planning team
  • Analysis of stock composition, defining potential stock reduction opportunities (through move to other markets) and risks of inventory slow mover to be addressed to local markets with constant action tracking
  • Review of unplanned opportunities coming from local commercial teams and daily highlight to local markets of availability gaps
  • Daily highlighting to planning and replenishment teams of key enablers for gap resolution through generation of top materials list
  • Lead the weekly factory review meeting of short- and long-term availability and coverage for the relevant factories; definition of improvement actions to support the right stock and service level strategy together with the Planning team
  • Support the Cluster Supply Chain leader in the preparation of the weekly review meeting for the managed cluster focusing on short- and long-term availability and coverage
  • Constant monitoring of KPI’s under his/her responsibilities: Customer Service level (incl. for top customers) and inventory coverage with resolution of current and potential gaps
  • Prepare regular availability and stock reports using standard tool

 

Background and experiences

 

  • Min. 1 year of experience in supply chain
  • Proficient at Excel
  • High drive for results, good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English
  • Demand planning and BI reporting skills
  • Knowledge of order management and production planning processes
  • Experience of SAP APO would be advantageous
